Carla’s Sonshine
No, the name is not misspelled. The hybridizer, Florida Aquatic Nursery, gave the naming rights for this water lily to the International Water Lilies and Water Gardening Society as a fund raiser prior to its release in 2004. The highest bidder was Greg Witstock whose wife, Carla, named the new water lily for her sons. Carla's Sonshine, in addition to the unique name, has deep yellow petals and is the only viviparous yellow water lily on the market. It is compact meaning the leaves have short stems keeping them close to the flowers. The leaves are heavily mottled .

This water lily was named for one of the directors of The Missouri Botanical Garden. The deep purple blooms with stellate shape may grow to 7-10 inches and give off a delightful aroma. The pads are green with purple flecks spreading 4-6 feet. Grow in full sun to part shade.

Foxfire
This water lily presents an unusual color scheme of purple petals with a pink center. The leaves are green with bold maroon splashes and may reach a diameter of 17 to 19 inches with a spread of up to 10 feet. It received the First Place Tropical Water Lily and Best New Water Lily awards in 2014.

Innocence
True to its name the flowers blush when first opened then the pink tips on the petals turn white like the rest of the flower. The stellate flowers reach 5-7 inches in diameter and are held high above the water. The pads are green with burgundy splashes and spreads 4-6 feet. This viviparous plant reproduces by developing new plants on the leaf. This is associated with a plant that thrives in cooler water temperatures..Innocence produces a sweet aroma. during the morning hours.

Midnight Serenade
Midnight Serenade is similar to Midnight except the flowers are purple and the stellate flowers become platter shaped. The pads on this plant are green with maroon mottling and spread 4-6 feet. This plant received the 2015 Best New Tropical Water Lily award.

Minuta
This plant is the only known dwarf tropical water lily. It was discovered in Madagascar and it is in our collector group. It is a species plant. The flowers are light pink with dark pink markings and produce many seeds. The green pads spread only 2 feet or less making it an ideal container garden plant. It will grow in sun or shade and bloom either above or below the water. The latter most often occurs under low light conditions.

St. Louis Gold
The whole flower is deep yellow and stellate. It tends to open later in the day than other water lilies but it also stays open later in the day. The pads are bronze with small purple splashes then turn to olive green and spread 4-5 feet. Grow in full sun.

The flowers on this lily start yellow and by late summer resemble the autumn colored water lilies with tones of pink and orange. The pads are green with maroon flecks and spread of 4-6 feet. This lily is a dependable bloomer. Grow in full sun.

Tina is a free flowering and fragrant plant with violet-purple flowers and a yellow center. It has green pads spreading 4-6 feet. It adapts well to smaller containers. We have some growing in decorative pots that are only 12 inches in diameter. Because it is a viviparous plant it is more cold hardy than other tropical plants. Grow in full sun to part shade.

Woods Blue Goddess
Are you looking for a large and sturdy plant? This may be the one. It grows as large as the container permits. The large sky blue flowers with dark violet stamens and star shape show up well in large ponds. It was awarded the Outstanding Water Lily in 1987.
