Nelumbo Mrs Perry D. Slocum (tuber)
The queen of American lotus hybridized by Dr. Perry D. Slocum. You will love the blooms with 22 petals and 10-12 inch diameters. The large outer petals are graced with lacy center petals. The flower is lavendar pink on the first day it is open and then changes to yellow to cream. It has an anise fragrance. Keep 3-6 inches of water over the dirt.
Nelumbo Oriole Out of Water (tuber)
The light yellow petals and pink tips on semi-double blooms give a delicate appearance. It will bloom from late summer into early fall after other lotus have stopped blooming.
This is a dormant tuber and available only during January and February. It may be refrigerated until it is time to plant in your area.

Another classical lotus with single red blooms. It is a heavy bloomer frequently having several blooms at one time. Plant in a small pot and maintain 2 inches of water over the soil. Lotus tubers are sold during January and February when the plants are dormant.
