Amethyst Mist

Amethyst Mist was named the Best New Tropical Water Lily in 2017 by the International Water Lily and Water Gardening Society and was released to the public in 2021. Now you can own a winner., There are about 50 petals each dark purple and turning lighter purple in the center. The flowers are large. The pads are green with maroon splashes. Out of Stock, 2024

Carla’s Sonshine

No, the name is not misspelled. The hybridizer, Florida Aquatic Nursery, gave the naming rights for this water lily to the International Water Lilies and Water Gardening Society as a fund raiser prior to its release in 2004. The highest bidder was Greg Witstock whose wife, Carla, named the new water lily for her sons. Carla's Sonshine, in addition to the unique name, has deep yellow petals and is the only viviparous yellow water lily on the market. It is compact meaning the leaves have short stems keeping them close to the flowers. The leaves are heavily mottled .  Out of Stock, 2024
