Queen of Siam
Queen of Siam has pink flowers that are a sharp contrast to the green and maroon leaves. Additionally this is another viviparous plant that grows new plants on the leaves. This trait makes the plant more cold hardy. During early spring and late fall, when there are temperature swings, this plant is a show piece when other non-viviparous plants are struggling a bit.

St. Louis Gold
The whole flower is deep yellow and stellate. It tends to open later in the day than other water lilies but it also stays open later in the day. The pads are bronze with small purple splashes then turn to olive green and spread 4-5 feet. Grow in full sun.

Victoria Cruziana
This is the queen of night-blooming plants and part of our collector group. The first night the flowers are white opening quickly at dusk and remaining open for the night and most of the next day. Just prior to opening the pineapple or butterscotch aroma fills the evening air and signals the opening flower. By dusk the next day it is pink and 9-11 inches in diameter. The pads are green with a pie crust edge and covered in spines except the top of the leaf. It may reach 8 feet in diameter if planted in a very large container. In a large pond it may spread up to 40 feet if heavily fertilized. Heavy fertilizer translates into about 2-3 cups of fertilizer or, as the 'old timers' said a sock full. It may also be maintained at smaller sizes by planting it in smaller containers. We have one we limit to an 8 foot square pond.
This plant is shipped bare root and requires the pond water to be 80-85 degrees to avoid shock. Gradually expose the plant to full sun to prevent burning of the leaves. After adapting to the pond it may be placed in full sun and water temperature of 75-90 degrees. This is a very fast growing annual and lasts one year.

Bulls Eye
This is a great name for a true red lily with a yellow center. It has over 70 petals and is free flowering. The green pads spread 4-6 feet. Grow in full sun.

Minuta
This plant is the only known dwarf tropical water lily. It was discovered in Madagascar and it is in our collector group. It is a species plant. The flowers are light pink with dark pink markings and produce many seeds. The green pads spread only 2 feet or less making it an ideal container garden plant. It will grow in sun or shade and bloom either above or below the water. The latter most often occurs under low light conditions.
