Kathy McLane has 48 rosy-red petals forming a cup-shaped bloom about 5-7 inches in diameter. The flowers stay open later in the day than most tropical water lilies. During the late morning hours a sweet aroma is present. The green pads have purple splashes on the upper surface. Add this medium size plant to a small or medium size pond.

Key West 2
Key West water lily was named the Best New Water Lily and The Best New Tropical Water Lily of 2019 by The International Water Lily Society. This is the first year we have offered it for sale. It is referred to as autumn colored or burnt red-orange to pink with a yellow center. The pads are also burnt red-orange but darker than the flower. This is a medium size plant stretching to 4-6 feet. Grow it in full sun.

Laura Frase
The blooms on Laura Frase stand well above the water with blue- cup shaped- flowers containing 35 petals and 8-11 inches in diameter. An added bonus is the fragrance. One year we had a Laura Frase with 13 blooms and buds at one time. Don't expect this as normal but rather as a statement of a heavy blooming plant. The new leaves are first a bronze color then green with purple splashes. A great medium size plant for medium to large ponds.

This water lily checks all the boxes! It is a vigorous grower with multiple large white - star - shaped -blooms held above the water. The flowers give off a pleasant aroma, especially during the morning hours. The pads are about 13"x11" and green with purple splashes. The pads spread 7-8 feet. Midnight Serenade
Midnight Serenade is similar to Midnight except the flowers are purple and the stellate flowers become platter shaped. The pads on this plant are green with maroon mottling and spread 4-6 feet. This plant received the 2015 Best New Tropical Water Lily award.

Minuta
This plant is the only known dwarf tropical water lily. It was discovered in Madagascar and it is in our collector group. It is a species plant. The flowers are light pink with dark pink markings and produce many seeds. The green pads spread only 2 feet or less making it an ideal container garden plant. It will grow in sun or shade and bloom either above or below the water. The latter most often occurs under low light conditions.

Missouri
Missouri is a tropical night blooming water lily with white, plate like flowers and yellow anthers near the center. The flowers are larger than any other night blooming plant and may reach 10 - 14 inches when grown in a large pot containing 2 cu. feet of soil and plenty of fertilizer. The leaves start out bronze colored and then green when mature. They are about 14 x 12 inches and spread 6-10 feet. If you have a large pond and need cover for fish, this may be the plant for you.

Panama Pacific
This plant has a 100 year history and is still a very dependable and desirable variety. The rich violet-purple flowers are cup shaped then stellate and exude a sweet fragrance. The green pads spread 4-6 feet but may be kept smaller in a small pot. This plant grows best in sun but tolerates partial shade. It is one of the hardiest tropical water lilies and it is viviparous.

Peppermint Splash
Peppermint Splash was new in 2023. The star shaped flowers have some petals that are pink with white splashes, other petals are white with pink to red splashes and others are solid dark pink with white splashes and a yellow center. Although the picture does not show all of the color variations, when you see all of the blooms on the plant, there will be all of the color combinations described. There is a lot to look at with this plant. The leaves are green with maroon splashes. An unusual hybrid!

Queen of Siam has pink flowers that are a sharp contrast to the green and maroon leaves. Additionally this is a viviparous plant that grows new plants on the leaves. This trait makes the plant more cold hardy. During early spring and late fall, when there are temperature swings, this plant is a show piece when other non-viviparous plants are struggling a bit.
