Commonly referred to as Dwarf Giant Papyrus it is just like the giant papyrus used to make paper but this one only grows 2 feet tall. Grow in sun or part shade with plenty of fertilizer and about 4 inches of water over the crown. Zones 9-11

Pandanus Baptistii Variegata
Screw Pine is not a common aquatic plant however it does very well in water and is always well groomed. It pups readily and will grow into a shrub or tree if not confined. If it is planted in a 3 gallon pot it will fit the size requirements for most ponds and provide shade for fish. Grow in full sun, moist or dry soil or in water to 2 inches over the crown. Zones 9-11.
Afterglow
The flowers on this lily have autumn coloring and start out pink changing to orange and then to yellow. They are cup shaped at 6 to 10 inches in diameter. The pads are green and spread 4-6 feet. This lily is a profuse bloomer that will emit a fresh clean aroma. Grow it in full sun.
Stipa sp
Commonly referred to as Bamboo Grass. We knew very little about this plant and through experimentation concluded it grows well in full sun or part shade. Ours grew to a height of about 3 feet tall and about 3 feet in diameter before we gave it a hair cut. It grew best when the pot sat in 3 inches of water but not submerged. The plant forms a dense ball with the lower stems and leaves drooping down covering much of the pot and providing shade for the fish.
Acrosticum danaefolium
Also known as water fern. It is a native Florida fern and will grow to a height of 10 feet thus suggesting an appropriate home would be in a large pond. Plant it in semi shade to maintain a dark green color and in moist soil or in water with 3 inches over the crown. Zones 6-11
