Hot Pink
This lily earns its name with bright neon pink flowers. Each flower is cup shaped with a yellow center and may contain as many as 50 petals. The pads are green with purple mottling and a spread of 4-6 feet. In 2009 this plant was named The Second Best Water Lily.

Hydrocleys nymphoides
Also known as Water Poppy it is easy to grow as it floats on the water surface spreading up to 6 feet and may easily be cut back. Flowers appear when the water reaches a temperature of 70-75 degrees and thrives in sun or shade. Water poppy provides a hiding place for fish and reduces algae growth. Zone 9-11.

Iris Blue Flag
This is the only Florida native iris. It has vibrant blue blooms appearing in the middle of May while the rest of the year the green leaves add textural interest in the pond. Grow in sun to part shade and keep well fertilized and moist to 3 inches of water over the crown. Zones 8-11.

Kathy McLane
Kathy McLane has 48 rosy-red petals forming a cup-shaped bloom about 5-7 inches in diameter. The flowers stay open later in the day than most tropical water lilies. During the late morning hours a sweet aroma is present. The green pads have purple splashes on the upper surface. Add this medium size plant to a small or medium size pond.

Key West 2
Key West water lily was named the Best New Water Lily and The Best New Tropical Water Lily of 2019 by The International Water Lily Society. This is the first year we have offered it for sale. It is referred to as autumn colored or burnt red-orange to pink with a yellow center. The pads are also burnt red-orange but darker than the flower. This is a medium size plant stretching to 4-6 feet. Grow it in full sun.

A unique trait of this water lily is the black sepals - the outer petals covering the bud. The flower is deep purple and has a yellow center. The pads are green and spread 4-6 feet. This is a vigorous grower and viviparous. Grow in sun to part shade.

Myriophyllum aquaticum
You may recognize this very useful plant as Parrots Feather. It grows floating on the water and anchored in a pot. It softens hard edges on a water fall or the edge of the pond. The feathery leaves may be easily trimmed off if the plant looks scraggly but needs very little maintenance. This plant will also provide shade for fish and reduce algae growth.Zones 6-11.

Nelumbo Space Lotus 36 (tuber)
You can own a bit of space history with this lotus. Ancestor seeds were sent into space to learn what happens in the absence of gravity. The Chinese learned seed production increased. This large lotus has many seeds and edible tubers. The pink flowers are held high above the leaves.

Panama Pacific
This plant has a 100 year history and is still a very dependable and desirable variety. The rich violet-purple flowers are cup shaped then stellate and exude a sweet fragrance. The green pads spread 4-6 feet but may be kept smaller in a small pot. This plant grows best in sun but tolerates partial shade. It is one of the hardiest tropical water lilies and it is viviparous.
